The Bible Is The Word Of God Only If It Reflects The Actual Words That God Spoke And Wants Mankind To Believe.

The Ebionite Nazirene Witness: As Pagans and sun worshipers, the Romans did not like the Words that God spoke directly to man in the Gospels -- and for those who are faithful enough to seek Truth over the doctrines of men, there are 10 words that were altered from their original context in the New Testament that have the power to re-establish the necessary spiritual foundational essence of the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus which was known as TheWay. In fact, it can be said that the very Hand of God protected and preserved these Ten Words so that seekers of Truth would not be misguided and misdirected by manmade Church dogma, and possess the means to prove the Truth that they must embrace. By using the earliest of biblical manuscripts in conjunction with six (6) separate quotations of the pre-Nicene (prior to the year 325AD) Church Fathers, it can be demonstrated that the very same scriptures that we use today, read differently prior to the adoption of Christianity as the state puppet religion of the Roman government -- ruled over first by the Emperor Constantine, and then a succession of equally pagan emperors who followed him. Further, in the Book of Acts the disciples themselves witness as to the validity of the original Ten Words -- and these exact words are again witnessed to by Paul in the Epistle to the Hebrews. In one of the oldest existing Bibles known as Codex Bezae, the text reads: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" . And as demonstrated below, this is representative of the words spoken by God the Father, when Yeshua/Jesus was baptized in the Jordan.

The Greatest Hoax And Fraud Ever Perpetuated Upon Mankind: To even suggest as the Church has done, that the very disciples who walked with Jesus daily -- talked with him daily -- the disciple who Jesus personally taught about God and both his and their relationship to the Father -- those who Jesus said were a witness to the Truth and TheWay -- that these same disciples (in the words of the later Church leaders) were too ignorant, or too Jewish, to understand what Jesus taught -- must be representative of the greatest religious frauds and deceptions known to man. And yet, regardless of the facts, this same fraud and deception continues to be preached from the pulpits of most Churches -- spiritually disenfranchising the Christian world to this very day!!!

Contrary to what the later deception which the Church of Rome promoted, t he Gospels emphatically state that these same disciples were representative of a witness to the Truth and TheWay that Jesus taught -- and to even suggest that they were themselves too ignorant, or too Jewish to understand these teachings, is representative of the greatest religious hoax that has ever been perpetuated upon mankind. The Book of Acts testifies to the fact that Jesus further instructed the disciples through the Holy Spirit -- i.e., "after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen" (Acts 1:2-3 NIV). And these same disciples witnessed to the fact that "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him" (Acts 10:38 NIV). They portrayed Jesus as "...a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst" (Acts 2:22 NKJV). But in the fourth century the segment of the Church who entered into a covenant relationship with the Pagan Emperor Constantine not only rejected the witness of the disciples who personally knew Jesus, that he was a man who was Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by God -- but they changed the very words of God spoken to mankind -- i.e., "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" .

What these original Ten Words spoken by the Father to mankind presented, was that the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus remained totally faithful to the Gospel teachings. If, as the very words of God spoken to mankind stated, that Jesus became the Messiah (Anointed) and Son of God by living the necessary Consecrated Life that enabled him to fulfill the Law within himself, then the truth of the Gospel is found in the witness of the Ebionite who held firmly to the position that Jesus "...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity" (see Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34). When the Ebionite Nazirenes make reference to the Law, this very much includes the Laws of Creation as portrayed in the words "...the designs/laws found throughout Nature and all of Creation". That the historical man Jesus was a pattern for all of mankind because of his success in overcoming the Laws, is demonstrated in the words: "He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ..." And this confirms this statement with respect to the true potential of all of mankind that Jesus taught, as demonstrated in the words of Hippolytus when he wrote that they believed that when anyone "...thus fulfill the law, they are able to become Christs" (Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34 - see http://Ebionite.com ). And this is why Jesus taught that he was our brother -- i.e., "Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'" (John 20:17 NIV).

That the historical Jesus was a true holy man who became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ by fulfilling the Royal Law within himself, is attested to at Acts 2:22 where Jesus is portrayed as "a man, attested to you by God" -- and this was demonstrated by God performing "mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst". If Jesus was himself God incarnate as believed by the later Romans, then these words portraying Jesus as a man approved by God through the works and wonders that God did through him, never would have been presented in this manner.

The heathen and pagan mind of the mainstream of Gentiles always had great difficulty in understanding the difference between the man Jesus, the Indwelling Logos/Son of God which is representative of the Mind of God (see The Logos), and the One Teacher which Jesus commanded all who would call themselves his disciples and followers, were to seek out and learn from (see The True Prophet). And it was the living of the necessary Consecrated Life that Jesus ordained, and the seeking of the Kingdom within, that enabled the historical Jesus to become the Messiah, and At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God. And this is especially demonstrated in the words of Edward Gibbon with respect to the original position of the Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Jesus that he was in ...supernatural union of a man and God... In their eyes, Jesus of Nazareth was a mere mortal, the legitimate son of Joseph and Mary: but he was the best and wisest of the human race, selected as the worthy instrument to restore upon earth the worship of the true and supreme Deity. When he was baptized in the Jordan, the Christ, the first of the aeons, the Son of God himself, descended on Jesus in the form of a dove, to inhabit his mind, and direct his actions during the allotted period of his ministry (Gibbon; The Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, V.4, P.366).

The historical and spiritual factualness of these words can be proven when one understands the original words that were spoken to the man Jesus at his baptism in the Jordan River -- when the Voice of God stated: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" -- which means that the historical man Jesus was a man who became the Messiah/Christ when he overcame the Laws and became Anointed by God. That the later Church of Rome which existed as a puppet under the pagan sun worshipping Emperor Constantine, censored and changed the very words of God spoken to mankind, is the primary reason why the Christian world remains shackled to the abyss of spiritual ignorance to this very day. In the below article it will be demonstrated that all the pre-Nicene Christian authors who quoted the baptism sequence in their writings, confirmed that prior to the fourth century editing of the scriptures by Pagan Rome, that the Gospels confirmed that Jesus was a holy man who became the Lord's Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by fulfilling and overcoming the Laws. Moreover, in addition to the six (6) pre-Nicene Christian authors who are cited in The Ten Words, this fact is further confirmed in the more ancient surviving biblical texts that modern translators continue to ignore to the spiritual pearl of the Christian world today. That the modern Church continues to reject the very words of God spoken to mankind, in favor of the censored and corrupted words of the fourth century Emperor of Pagan Rome, is the reason why the modern Church which has caused itself to be spiritually flat-lined, only possesses what Paul portrayed as the "elementary" doctrines that the Church Father Origen defined as being ...preached in the Churches for the simpleminded and for the ears of the common crowd who are led on to live better lives by their belief (see Origen, Contra Celsum).

These 10 words demonstrate conclusively that the text of the New Testament has been altered in order to make it support the doctrines of the Pagan Roman/Greek world. These 10 words further demonstrate that the essence of the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus has little in common with the Christian religion today. In fact, these 10 words are to Christianity, what the 10 Commandments were to Judaism -- i.e., the foundation from which every other aspect of the religion springs forth!

The Earliest Of Christian Documents: The fourth century Church of Constantine promoted the false doctrine that the Hebrew followers of Jesus were few in number, and ceased to exist after the fall of Jerusalem in 70A.D. -- but we know that this is not true. Knowledgeable researches have recognized that many of the Essenes and Therapeutae became known as the Ebionites after the advent of Jesus. The Essene-Ebionite connection is well documented in both the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Antiquity of the Jews; where the Jewish historian Josephus, who had lived among the Essenes, wrote about their way of life and how they differed from the Sadducees and Pharisees. In The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Gibbon notes that the teachings of Jesus was embraced by great numbers of the Therapeutae, or Essinians, and wrote that: Le Clerc (Hist. Ecclesiast p. 477, 535) seems to have collected from Eusebius, Jerome, Epiphanius, and other writers, all the principle circumstances that relate to the Nazarenes or Ebionites. The nature of their opinions soon divided them into a stricter and milder sect; and there is some reason to conjecture that the family of Jesus remained members, at least, of the latter and more moderate party.

Did the original followers of Jesus, which included his family, friends, and those who spoke to him daily and knew him intimately just fade into oblivion? Contrary to our present day beliefs, with regard to the 2nd and 3rd century church, it can be stated that prior to the time of Constantine, the true followers of Jesus remained very much a part of the House of Israel. Quoting Gnosticism and Early Christianity by R.M. Grant: What do we know about Roman Christianity in Marcions time? Admittedly the evidence is rather poor in quantity. But most of it points toward the presence of a strongly Jewish Christianity in the Roman church... the basic concern... is with ethics, Jewish ethics indeed the moral teaching.. is so Jewish, and so similar to that of some of the Dead Sea Scrolls, that a modern scholar has argued that [it] cannot possibly represent the mainstream of Roman Christianity in his time. Moreover, his theology, such as it is, is thoroughly Jewish Presumably the coming of the Spirit made Jesus become Jesus Christ. Thus, the original Hebrew followers of Jesus which was the essence of the Christian religion, remained very much in its pure and original state as when the Lord Himself walked the earth, until the time of Constantine in the fourth century, when the true followers of Jesus were put to death by the apostate church.

In addition to the pre-Nicene Church Fathers and authorities who are quoted in this article, the earliest of Christian documents confirm that Jesus was portrayed as a man who became the Anointed (Messiah/Christ) by fulfilling the Law within himself. The historical personage of Jesus was a man -- just like us -- who through bringing about the necessary successive stages of birth, became At-One with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God. And for the sake of clarity, I will quote the Introduction off my webpage on the Shepherd of Hermas (see http://nazirene.org/shepherd_of_hermas.htm#intro ) which reads:

In the introduction of the early Christian writing known as the Shepard of Hermas, it is written: The Pastor of Hermas was one of the most popular books, if not the most popular book, in the Christian Church during the second, third, and fourth centuries..." A. D. Howell-Smith writes concerning the Shepherd of Hermas (Jesus Not a Myth, pp.120-121): "The Shepherd of Hermas, a strange allegory written sometime in the second century, had a great vogue in orthodox circles and was even included in some copies of the New Testament (it is found in the Sinaitic Codex). The theology of the Church must have been very elastic at a time when such a book could enjoy popularity and implicit, if not explicit, ecclesiastical sanction... The Shepherd speaks of a Son of God; but this Son of God is distinguished from Jesus."

Thus, it was the understanding of the early pre-Nicene Church that the man Jesus was separate from what can be portrayed as the Son of God, or Indwelling Logos. But those Christians who were too carnal to comprehend man's inner soul and spiritual reality, confused the man Jesus with the Indwelling Logos/Son of God. The Muslims did the same thing when they confused the human man Mohammed with The Prophet -- when the reference was being made to The True Prophet (see The True Prophet ) -- aka the Logos or Son of God that exists within the mind of all of us, at the very Core-Essence of our Being.

"And therefore I advise not only wise men, but indeed all men who have a desire of knowing what is advantageous to them, that they seek after the true Prophet; for it is He alone who knoweth all things, and who knoweth what and how every man is seeking. For He is within the mind of every one of us, but in those who have no desire of the knowledge of God and His righteousness, He is inoperative; but He works in those who seek after that which is profitable to their souls, and kindles in them the light of knowledge. Wherefore seek Him first of all; and if you do not find Him, expect not that you shall learn anything from any other. But He is soon found by those who diligently seek Him through love of the truth, and whose souls are not taken possession of by wickedness. For He is present with those who desire Him in the innocence of their spirits, who bear patiently, and draw sighs from the bottom of their hearts through love of the truth; but He deserts malevolent minds, because as a prophet He knows the thoughts of every one. And therefore let no one think that he can find Him by his own wisdom, unless, as we have said, he empty his mind of all wickedness, and conceive a pure and faithful desire to know Him. For when any one has so prepared himself, He Himself as a prophet, seeing a mind prepared for Him, of His own accord offers Himself to his knowledge.

That there was a difference between the man, Jesus, and the Indwelling Logos/Son of God/True Prophet, is the same message that is also presented in the Didache (The Teachings Of The Twelve Apostles) where it is concluded in the Wikipedia (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didache ): "Lord" in the Didache is reserved usually for "Lord God", while Jesus is called "the servant" of the Father..." Jesus/Yeshua was seen as a servant, because he was a man, just as you and I. In the allegory of the scriptures, Jesus, Yeshua, is representative of that vibration and condition of mind and being that connects us to the Indwelling Logos/Son of God/True Prophet. Therefore, the objective of the Gospels is for you to become all that the name Yeshua embodies.

If the author of the Gospel of Luke believed that Jesus was God, he never would have written the address of Peter in the following fashion: Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know (Acts 2:22 NAS). Luke never would have called Jesus a man attested to you by God. If Jesus was God, Luke never would have written that God performed through Him in your midst. If Jesus was God, he would not have been called a man -- neither would he have been attested to -- and he would have performed his own works.

The Folly Of Perpetual Redemption

What Christians today fail to realize is the fact that the original Ebionite/Nazirene followers and disciples of Yeshua/Jesus believed very differently than people today -- so different, that it can be said that modern Christians follow a different religion than that which was taught by Yeshua. In fact, the beliefs of the original followers of Yeshua were so different, that it was said of them that they were rejected from one religion as apostates, and from the other as heretics (Gibbon: Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire, v.1, p.416).

Why were they rejected by the later Roman Church? While no one throughout Christian history has ever questioned the resurrection and the Sonship of Yeshua, what has been questioned is when the man Yeshua/Jesus became the Messiah/Christ -- or Anointed One of God -- as well as what it means to be the Anointed of God. And while the Christian world fervently studies their Bibles, there exists ten words that so totally alters our perception and understanding of the life of Yeshua/Jesus, that every modern-day doctrine of the church would have to be radically revised in light of these ten words. Further, once these ten words are acknowledged, the original Ebionite/Nazirene followers of Yeshua/Jesus are no longer viewed as heretics -- but rather, the true disciples of TheWay!

In the same way that the fourth century Church persecuted and murdered the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples of Yeshua because of these ten words that totally change every aspect of one's mindset and lifestyle, these same ten words inhibit the Christian world from making any real spiritual gains, and they cause the Church to become spiritually flat-lined. To the degree that one Christian Bible Commentary states that if these Ten Words are True, then the present day doctrines of the Church are vain and baseless.

While modern Christians who believe in the doctrine of the Trinity believe that Jesus is God, this doctrine would have to be immediately rejected when the correct ten words are restored to their rightful place in the scriptures. With regard to when these words were spoken, Christian history also tells us that these words were in fact said to Jesus at his baptism in the Jordan: "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee" . The problem is that, with the exception of a footnote at the baptism of Jesus in the Revised Standard Version, these words are no longer contained in our Bibles today. What the footnote states is that many of the more ancient manuscripts read: "Today I have begotten thee" , instead of "In thee I am well pleased" at Luke 3:22. Yet, this footnote in no measure portrays all the other citations which confirm that Jesus was a man who fulfilled the Law within himself, and became the Messiah/Christ, at his baptism -- and he did this by overcoming and fulfilling the Law. Which means that the primary goal of True Christians is to Imitate Christ -- i.e., And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it (Matt 10:38-39 NKJ). Therefore, unless you bring about those conditions where you lose your worldly life on what is allegorically represented by the Cross, then you cannot be a believer or follower of Messiah/Christ.

If God intended Jesus to be a one time perpetual sacrifice for the sins of man -- permitting mankind to live in a state of sin -- then it never would have been stated that "...it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who ...then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV). What this means is that the religion of Jesus in its original form was one of spiritual transformation -- and those who willfully sin, crucify the Son of God afresh, and

Martin Luther who is the founder of modern faith-based Christianity, was simply unable to comprehend the basis of Paul's faith over the outward ritualization of the works of the Law of Moses, and in his frustration rejected the Epistle to the Hebrews because of many of the statements such as that which demonstrates the whole theology of modern Christianity to be counterfeit -- i.e., "For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).

What is Paul, the alleged author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, saying in these important words? Very clearly, he warns that repentance from a life of sin is a one time thing -- reserved for those who are entry-level Christians -- because if after repenting the believer "...sins deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." Why? Because a believer who willfully sins after repentance and coming to the knowledge of TheWay, is a counterfeit believer who is an "apostate... who crucifies the Son of God afresh -- holding him up to contempt." Because Luther could not at all come to terms with what the Gospel message which Paul actually stated -- a message in total conflict with the theology which is now foundational to the modern Church -- Luther simply ordained blind belief, and condemned even the use of the mind as a discerning factor -- i.e., Reason , writes Luther, is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but - more frequently than not - struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God (Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled by George Seldes). Yet, even the Epistle to the Romans which Luther did accept, totally rejects his counterfeit theology where it is warned that if the Christians in any manner condemn the Jews, that their own covenant will be rejected. Do not be arrogant", warns Paul, "but be afraid (Rom 11:20 NIV). Why? Why would the Apostle warn the Christians they should be afraid? This is an important question for the modern believer to understand. They should be afraid because of the violation of the covenant with God when the Gentile converts ignored the warning of the Apostle: For if God did not spare the natural Jewish branches, he will not spare you either Otherwise, you also will be cut off (Rom 11:21-22 NIV). And the fact that the Christians failed to heed this warning of Paul, is the reason why the Church has been cut off, and the Christian world continues to dwell in a Spiritual Diaspora -- shackled by the very ignorance that they brought upon themselves.

In the dogmatic transformation of Christianity from a spiritual religion into an government ordained institutionalized puppet of Pagan Rome, much of the New Testament was edited to reflect Roman Pagan dogma, important teachings of a spiritual nature were removed, and the whole of the New Testament was corrupted (see http://BibleCorruption.com ). In a surviving excerpt of what has been historically known as the Gospel According to the Hebrews, which was reported to be the "original version of Matthew" that was composed in the Hebrew Characters, it was written:

Paul's doctrine of faith vs the outward rituals of the Mosaic Law, is based upon the reality that if the disciple truly follows in TheWay -- doing as Jesus states and picking up their own cross in Imitation of Messiah/Christ -- that the Kingdom that Jesus taught was within each person (see http://GateOfEden.com ), will manifest within the body-mind of the disciple. When the Key of Knowledge is applied to the scriptures -- and they are turned within -- then the disciple becomes transformed into what is called The Final Temple (see http://TheThreeLies.com#temple ). Thus, this brings about the promised End Times or Second Coming within the mind and body of the faithful disciple of TheWay. That the Kingdom came within the body and mind of the disciples, is why Jesus stated Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all things take place (Luke 21:32 NAS). Which confirms the words: There are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom (Mt 16:28).

These, and other such spiritual concepts of a Kingdom that comes within the lives of those who pick up their own cross and travail in TheWay, were totally unacceptable to the heathen Church of Rome, and the scriptures were corrupted in order to make them support the doctrines of the emperor. That the Church has abandoned the original teachings of Jesus, and have ignored the facts when it is demonstrated that the Church of Rome corrupted the very words of God spoken to man, means that until the Church itself repents of this great sin against the Holy Spirit, they will remain under a cloud of ignorance in an exile state in a Spiritual Diaspora.

The Trinity

There is sufficient evidence presented in the below that should cause the sincere Christian to question the foundation of modern-day church dogma. The doctrine of the Trinity was a long-held belief in the Gentile world, but was totally rejected by the Jews and the Old Testament scriptures. And, from a Greco/Roman perspective, if Jesus was the latest incarnation of the (Mithrac) sun-god who was always born on December 25 th, -- and that the historical record had to be rewritten in order to make the Jews the heretics, and the non-Jews the true people of God -- then the words spoken to Jesus at the Baptism in the Jordan had to be changed, and the Trinity had to be written into the New Testament in order to support the religion of the emperor and the dogma of Pagan Rome. Yet, the case against the doctrine of the Trinity and the affirmation that Jesus was the adopted Son of God, is easily demonstrated. Once this fact is realized, it could then be said that we would have better odds playing Russian roulette, than holding steadfast to modern day church doctrine.

Under the heading of A Trinity Statute, The Encyclopedia Britannica says: "Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord (Deut. 6:4). . . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies. . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since" (1976, Micropedia, Vol. X, p. 126) .

How did the fourth century Church change the very Words spoken directly by God to all of mankind, and promote the doctrine of the Trinity? In the words of Gibbon in the Decline And Fall Of The Roman Empire: Constantine easily believed that the heretics, who presumed to dispute his opinions or to oppose his commands, were guilty of the most absurd and criminal obstinancy... Not a moment was lost in excluding the ministers and teachers of the separated congregations from any share of the rewards and immunities which the emperor had so liberally bestowed on the orthodox clergy. But as the sectaries might still exist under the cloud of royal disgrace, the conquest of the East was immediately followed by an edict which announced their total destruction. The heretics who the army of Constantine hunted down and murdered, were those faithful believers who refused to accept the religion of the emperor. Thus, the Christian world continues to embrace the doctrines and religion of the emperor, because they continue to reject the very Words of God, and have permitted themselves to become spiritually disenfranchised by the doctrines of men.

The New Catholic Encyclopedia states: "The formulation one God in three Persons was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title the Trinitarian dogma. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective" (1967, Vol. XIV, p. 299). What it means in the words that "...among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective", is because the concept of Jesus as God did not exist among the Apostles.

Who many of you call Jesus

In The Encyclopedia Americana we read: "Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching" (1956, Vol. XXVII, p. 294L).

According to the Nouveau Dictionnaire Universel, "The Platonic trinity, itself merely a rearrangement of older trinities dating back to earlier peoples, appears to be the rational philosophic trinity of attributes that gave birth to the three hypostases or divine persons taught by the Christian churches. . . . This Greek philosophers [Plato, fourth century B.C.E.] conception of the divine trinity . . . can be found in all the ancient [pagan] religions" (Paris, 1865-1870, edited by M. Lachtre, Vol. 2, p. 1467).

In his Dictionary of the Bible, John L. McKenzie, S.J., writes that: "The trinity of persons within the unity of nature is defined in terms of person and nature which are G[ree]k philosophical terms; actually the terms do not appear in the Bible. The trinitarian definitions arose as the result of long controversies in which these terms and others such as essence and substance were erroneously applied to God by some theologians" (New York, 1965, p. 899).

Who many of you call Jesus

The answer is clearly written in the very beginning of the Revelation where it is stated: "The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him..." (Rev 1:1 NIV).

Most Christians who are unaware of the corruption of the New Testament by the fourth century Church of Constantine (see Corruption ), will immediately ask why these verses which represent the very Words of God to mankind were altered? The truth and the facts to the matter is very clearly expressed in the words of Prof. Bart D. Ehrman in his book, The Orthodox Corruption of Scripture, where he warns us that:

In order to be acceptable to the secular authorities of 4th century Rome, the religion known today as Christianity had to be imbued with certain elements that made it compatible with both the government, as well as the thinking of the people. And if we pose the question as to who were the people? The only possible answer is that the great masses of converts to the Church of Rome were Pagan and idol worshiping heathens who prayed to statues, every sort of manmade and natural object, as well as the sun, moon and stars -- and they looked upon these things as their god! But to their pagan mindset, the god of all gods, was in fact the sun -- and the sun which is reborn every December 25 th, periodically becomes manifest among men when the sun-god once again incarnates into the world in the form of man. Therefore, they reasoned that the Mithraic sun-god was born among the Jews in order to condemn them, and then be re-established among the Gentiles (non-Jews) as their Christ -- which they had always proclaimed.
